Live every day with enjoyment - we don't know what tomorrow will give us
I had a little bit of sleepless nights this weekend - getting ready to fly to London and Spain to spend time with my family and being ready to leave but my main reason for being Sleepless in Los Angeles is that good friend Letty Jo lost an adult son this week from a sudden heart attack. When ever unexpected news arrives and it affects someone that is near and dear it is much more poignant than someone removed from us who we just hear about on TV or read about in the newspaper. The most amazing thing they were able to spend two weeks together less than a month ago over the Thanksgiving Holiday travelling to Colorado for a family visit and completed so many things that had remained unsaid that she is able to feel as complete as you can feel under such sad circumstances. The point for putting this on my blog is to express what is in the title of this post - don't lets be complacent folks - live with joie de vivre as if each day means something because we truly don't know about tomorrow - that is what makes fighting the windmills a given - go for it - tap into your unconscious mind and figure out what you want that is what is the difference between living and existing.

THE POWER OF MENTORSHIP PUTS THE SECRET IN ITS SHADOW
THE SECRET opened our eyes to the things in the universe that have been around for ever that were understood but not explained to many of us. I was privileged, through an invitation I received from the director and producer of the movie to receive an invitation to the premier of THE POWER OF MENTORSHIP. Not only did Bob Proctor sign my book but I was able to mingle with all the people involved in the film. This idea started as a a seed which grew into something that I guarantee will be running through the world of mouth community at lightning speed that no windmills will be able to interfere with. The great thing about this movie is that the medium and the message are one. If ever there was a film created for people who want to get out of their comfort zone but need a simple recipe and road map of how to do it in incremental steps THE POWER OF MENTORSHIP is the one.
I personally am mentoring people in my business and being mentored myself by some of the best in the business. For anyone getting started and needing direction - I highly recommend THE POWER OF MENTORSHIP and then find a mentor for what ever your field is.

The Chains of the Replicated Web Site Are Over
When you are a rookie network marketer it seems so exciting to have a web site. The only thing is you are being charged for it and nobody will EVER find you unless you send them there. So it is basically a dead web site. Today I finally launched my own site - albeit a work in progress - but I can talk about my opportunities, place Google ads on there and it is all up to me. Isn't that what being an entrepreneur is all about? You will find my site, with links to many other opportunities and great products at www.whoisjuliettegray.net

IF DON WAS HERE TODAY HOW LARGE WOULD THE WINDMILLS BE
The review below gives an idea of the idealism of our hero. Things havn't changed that much ans as individuals we owe it to ourselves to tailor our dreams and opportunities with the idealism that is expressed in the novel. I hope as the readership of this blog grows and people see that in my own way I am trying to make a difference with the opportunities I have alligned myself to you will check out what I do and see if you might want to join the team spirit
Humanities Crowning Literary Achievement, February 9, 2007
No other writing encompasses as much ground as this novel. It is the story of bravery in the face of unsurmountable odds.
Alonso Quixano was a man who loved to read. He particularly loved books on Knights and their passion for helping others. The Don took his stories of Knightly heroism so seriously that he believed that he too could right society's wrongs and revive humanity. He followed the ethical codes of Knighthood and convinced a local man, Sancho Panza, to join him in his quest.
Throughout the first part of the novel, they come across many adventures where they valiantly attempt to help others. He travels thoughout Spain to help all he comes across, in the name of his fair maiden Dulcinea del Toboso, who is really a peasant girl who the Don has never seen, but understands that all Knights must have a woman who they fight for, and he has created this imaginary woman as a result. They fail many times in their adventures, and during those times when they do succeed, they are rarely ever appreciated, and ridiculed as a result.
The second part includes similiar adventures, but is also more serious, especially with the conversations between the Don and Sancho. Their downfalls are more painful, and because they have become well-known in Spain as a result of their adventures being printed, the people they come across pretend that they need rescuing, with terrible results, or knowingly play tricks on them to deride their cause.
The Don's good friends begin to see that he has suffered greatly with his efforts, and one of them challenges the Don to a duel. The loser is faced with permanent retirement of Knight-Errantry. Because a Knight never backs down from a challenge, the Don accepts this match and is defeated. The Don admits defeat, and sorrowfully retreats home.
The Don becomes ill, but it is not said as to why. Cervantes himself is unsure, but nonetheless, the Don Quixote becomes very sick and is bed-ridden. Sancho never leaves his side, and the Don regains his, "sanity", realizing that his adventures were futile. He apologizes to a weeping Sancho for causing him to follow his, "illusional" quest for righting wrongs. The Don says goodbye to all and perishes in his bed.
The novel is so vast, that many interpretations and meanings can be concluded as a result.
It is a comedy, a love story, an adventure, a mystery, and ultimately, a tragedy all in one. It comprises every human emotion known to man. It is incredibly detailed with well-defined characters and a contemplation of the present and it's meaning throughout.
Don Quixote went from a man who was laughed and scoffed at in the beginning of the novel, into a man who was well-respected and admired for his bravery. Only in his death did everyone realize that the Don had a great vision. His vision was to help humanity and those who were in need. The greatest gift the Don possessed was the gift of honor. His moral code never wavered, no matter how dire the circumstances.
Finishing the novel, you realize that humanity as a whole is often quite cynical, and rarely does it attempt to change the things which are wrong in the world. When one encounters someone who tries to help others, they are laughed at like the Don. The greatest moral one can take from this book is to appreciate the Don's bravery, and see that even though the Don may have believed deep-down inside that his many adventures would not be victorious, it was his attempt in the face of defeat that makes him the hero he was.

WINDMILLS FROM WINDOWS
Excuse the typo in the previous post. I meant to say the windmills metaphor not windows. But as the windmills are meant to be the windows of your soul metaphorically speaking I think everyone realises what I meant. More to come soon after the Thanksgiving Holiday. Juliette

WELCOME TO THE WINDMILLS OF MY MIND
LETS KEEP THE WINDMILLS TURNING
I would like to welcome everyone to my blog. It is still a work in progress. I hope everybody gets the window metaphor - if you don't you are probably in the wrong place. I will try to post interesting content, relating to network marketing, internet marketing, ecology, health, wellness, wealth and irony because life is ironic and once you trust the process you can start to really have fun. I am hoping that in a small way I will be able to guide people towards some of the things I have learned that will help build the lifestyle of your dreams one windmill turn at a time. When the going gets touch, instead of just going shopping, express yourself, write an article, post on a blog. Look out for a new wellness product instead of waiting til you get sick. Seek out extra income opportunities that can help build a better lifestyle, increase leisure, make a difference to others, thats what I plan to do. Let the windmills be your guide!Making Windmills with Words
A Time When Words Were Used Beautifully
There was a time when words were used beautifully. These glorious
insults are from an era when cleverness with words was still valued, before a
great portion of the English language was boiled down to four-letter words!
The exchange between Churchill and Lady Astor: She said, 'If you were
my husband, I'd put poison in your tea.' And he said, 'If you were my wife, I'd
drink it.''
Gladstone, a member of Parliament, to Benjamin Disraeli: 'Sir, you will
either die on the gallows or of some unspeakable disease.' 'That depends, sir,'
said Disraeli... 'On whether I embrace your policies or your mistress'.

Windmills for the New School of Network Marketing
Anyone read Kim Klaver's post yesterday on Banana Marketing about Nu Skin.
NuSkin cutting jobs in Utah, China
Could it be the old school duo of aggressive recruiting and big income-promising is wearing thin? Even abroad?NuSkin is only one of many big MLM companies seeking to boost their flagging U.S. sales by going abroad.1. NuSkin reports that 50% of its business comes from Japan alone. They entered China with high hopes in 2002, but now, have to pull back. The Daily Herald notes:
Truman Hunt, the company's president and chief executive officer, said new Japanese and Chinese management teams are implementing plans to boost business in those markets."At the end of the third quarter in Japan, we began launching aggressive sales initiatives focused on distributor recruitment," said Mr. Hunt. They're not the only one looking abroad to keep things alive for the old school mlm.2. Amway's business in the U.S. has been on the decline for several years, based on my conversations with some major distributors. Amway's (Quixtar) business is mostly abroad - especially in Asia.3. Herbalife, another one of the big MLM companies in the US, reports in their last 10-Q that approximately 80% of their sales come from outside the US.Has the relentless focus on recruiting and the non-stop promises of big income (which virtually no one attains) finally done them in here?
Easy income promises notwithstanding, distributors leave faster than the recruiters can bring them in.And the old school solution hasn't changed: bring on more "aggressive sales initiatives focused on distributor recruitment" (with promises of big financial success). Is that the best they can do?Is there a lesson here for the rest of us?
I POSTED A REPLY BUT IT DIDN'T GET UP ON HER BLOG SO I'LL POST IT ON MY OWN BLOG. Have to get the windmills moving again. Those of you who are building multiple streams of income in the new school of network marketing don't need any guidance I am sure but it is really important to recognize that the paradigm is changing and we need to change along with it.
Wow - I love these posts. Finally people are waking up that old school apart from anything else is old fashioned. In order for a business to survive you need retail customers. Where did I learn that? A lady by the name of Kim something I believe. Maybe that is the reason why my former company - Arbonne is recruiting in Australia and the UK now because they are starting to burn their bridges here with the old school system of signing everyone up as a wholesale buyer - having their reps spend thousands of dollars on catalogs and samples and not making any money to speak of and then when they find a couple of leaders the comp plan has them breaking away from them until the recruiter passes them so it is all about recruit recruit recruit. Give me a break - Have you checked the Arbonne management promotions in the last 12 months and you will see what I mean. They are going south. Nu Skin, Arbonne, Quixar - as the french say "the more things change the more they stay the same". (they say it in French though and for you francophiles out there - La Plus ca change la plus c'est la meme chose) - Sorry i havn't figured out how to do accents on the blog yet! Network marketers need multiple streams of income in opportunities where there is synergy where they make retail income and can train and mentor a select team of people who will build the other residual income. Makes sense to me how come the people running those aforementioned companies don't see that. I'M Finally in the Zone
Thanks to my John Assaraf and One Coach coaching program and the things I have learned about internet marketing with my upline at ITV Ventures I feel that I am learning so much and gathering the information and mentorship qualities my team will need to be successful at building multiple streams of income in either the hybrid marketing system that ITV offers or affiliate and other wellness programs that I believe to be state of the art 21st Century masterpieces. I look forward to sharing with you everything I have learned and although I am not Don Xiote or his long lost relative Donna, I look forward to help you search for the windmills to make your lives more productive both financially and spiritually and put right a few of the wrongs in the world using love , integrity, and a desire to make the planet a better place, just like my long lost buddy Don Xiote would have.
